(영어 구동사) 상태 유지를 표현하는 Keep 구동사들

앞선 포스팅에서 다뤘던 Stay와 비슷한 느낌으로 유지한다는 표현들을 할 수 있다.

 

-Keep up
따라가다, 유지하다.
Do you still keep up your Japanese?

-Keep on 
계속하다.
Keep your coat on. it's cold outside.

-Keep out
들어오지 않게 하다.
Please keep out of the construction area.

-Keep away
멀리하다.
Keep away from the site.

-Keep in
가두다, 감추다.
He couldn't really keep in his madness.

-Keep to
지키다, 고수하다.
Keep to the left.

-Keep from
~하지 않게 하다.
I couldn't keep myself from the habit.

-Keep track of
기록하다, 추적하다.
Keeping track of your expenses is the key for being thrifty.

-Keep an eye on
주의하다, 살펴보다.
Could you please keep an eye on my laptop?

-Keep going
계속 나아가다.
Just keep going. you’re doing well.

 

 

역시 느낌만 알면 어려운 것은 전혀 없다. 단어의 느낌은 예문을 많이 보면 된다.
